Game of Thrones ganha prêmio principal no Emmy 2018

A noite desta segunda-feira (17) foi de premiação durante o Emmy 2018, no Microsoft Theater, em Los Angeles (EUA). Em sua 70ª edição, o evento coroou "Game of Thrones", como melhor série de drama, vencendo a campeã na mesma categoria em 2017, "The Handmaid's Tale".

GOT já havia vencido sete prêmios preliminares do Emmy 2018, e ontem levou mais estatuetas, como o prêmio de melhor ator coadjuvante para Peter Dinklage. A série se consolida como a mais premiada na história do Emmy.

Na categoria Melhor Atriz em Série Dramática, a vencedora foi Claire Froy, que viveu a rainha Elizabeth na série "The Crow". A atriz se despediu da personagem na última temporada, pois será substituída por uma atriz mais velha.

Já na categoria Melhor Direção em Minissérie, o prêmio foi para Ryan Murphy pela 2ª temporada de ‘American Crime Story’, que conta a história do assassinato do estilista Gianni Versace.
